Owning and using a Sunleaves garden moisture meter will mean that you never overwater or underwater your plants again. This meter can be used for both indoors and outdoors and the measuring scale is from 1 (dry) to 10 (moist). The moisture meter is easy to use and read and does not require any batteries to operate it.

To use the Sunleaves moisture meter to measure plant moisture levels you must insert the probe tip down to root level of the plant. The moisture level reading should be noted down and then the results compared with the chart below to ascertain the watering requirements. If the moisture level reading falls below the optimum moisture reading for a specific plant, then it is time to water.

Sunleaves Digital 4-Way Soil Meter

The Sunleaves digital 4 way soil meter can be used to test the soil PH, the intensity of sunlight, temperature and moisture content levels. For your results the meter has a large LCD screen and an 8 inch long probe for the testing down to root levels. Also with this instrument is an auto power shut off and a low battery indicator.

Features

Measures light intensity at 9 levels.

Measures moisture at 5 levels.

Measures PH at 12 levels.

Measures temperature to the nearest whole degree.

To measure light intensity simply point the light sensor at the light source and the results will show up on the LCD screen.

To measure PH push the probe vertically in to the soil about 5 inches down. The PH levels of the soil will appear on the LCD screen.
